By using this Website or booking services through JaneApp, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not access or use our services.

1. Website and Service Purpose

Our Website and JaneApp portal provide general information about orofacial myofunctional therapy, allow users to request or book appointments, and deliver telehealth services. The content is for informational purposes only and does not replace consultation with a licensed healthcare professional.

Use of the Website or JaneApp does not establish a provider-patient relationship until services are formally confirmed and initiated.

2. No Medical or Dental Advice

All material presented on the Website and through JaneApp is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical or dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed physician, dentist, or qualified healthcare provider regarding any health-related concerns and before engaging in new physical activity.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services, website or access JaneApp independently. If under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and supervise use.

By accessing the Website or booking via JaneApp, you agree not to:

  • Interfere with service functionality or attempt unauthorized access;

5. Appointments and Communication via JaneApp

We use JaneApp, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, for:

  • Scheduling appointments

  • Intake forms and documentation

  • Secure messaging (optional)

  • Delivery of telehealth services

By booking an appointment through JaneApp, you consent to:

  • Receive emails and notifications regarding appointment confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups

  • Complete any required intake or consent forms prior to your session

  • Be contacted through the email or phone number provided

Appointment times are only confirmed once accepted by our office. We reserve the right to reschedule or decline appointments at our discretion.

6. Telehealth Services Disclaimer (JaneApp Video)

If you choose to receive services via JaneApp Telehealth, you acknowledge and agree:

  • Telehealth involves the use of video conferencing technology to facilitate remote assessment and care.

  • JaneApp’s video tool is HIPAA-, PHIPA-, and PIPEDA-compliant, offering end-to-end encryption for secure communication.

  • You understand the potential risks of telehealth, including technical failures, internet disruptions, and limited nonverbal assessment.

  • You will ensure you are in a private, secure environment with reliable internet access during your session.

  • You may withdraw consent for telehealth at any time and request in-person care (if available).

You further agree not to record, copy, or redistribute telehealth sessions without written permission.

7. Protected Health Information (PHI)

We comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and all applicable laws regarding the protection of Protected Health Information (PHI).

  • All personal and health-related information collected through JaneApp is stored securely and used solely for your care and service delivery.

8. Payment Policies

By booking services through JaneApp, you agree to the following terms:

  • Payment Due: Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged. For telehealth, prepayment may be required at booking.

  • Accepted Methods: JaneApp supports secure payment via credit card or other listed methods during the booking process.

  • Insurance: We do not bill or provide documentation for insurance. We are a fee for service only practice as we are not recognized by any insurance.

  • Cancellations: Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice to avoid a late cancellation or no-show fee of $150 or loss of a prepaid session.

  • Refunds: All treatment plans paid in full or in part are nonrefundable. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree that fees for services rendered or reserved are final and will not be refunded, regardless of completion or continuation of the treatment plan.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website and within JaneApp, including text, images, forms, videos, logos, and branding, is the property of Realign Myo Therapy, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reuse or reproduce this content without written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

We may link to or use third-party services (e.g., video platforms, educational resources). We are not responsible in any way for the content, policies, or performance of these third parties.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that the Website, JaneApp platform, or telehealth services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or entirely secure. Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

12. Limitation of Liability
